I hope everyone had a really great break and is looking
forward to the summer term. I know it is the summer term because there have
been definite moments of sunshine so I am hoping that these moments actually
become whole days and then we can at last enjoy some warm days.
We having quickly settled back into our routines here and
school is as busy as ever. As well as all the clubs starting again next week we
have a couple of extra events in school. On Tuesday there will be a
presentation by the school nurse on head lice. Unfortunately, whilst your child
is in school, they will probably get head lice at least once but we have had
some cases of recurring head lice in some classes so if you would like some
advice on how to treat head lice I would recommend that you do attend. If you
have not returned your slip saying that you want to come to the meeting just
contact the school office to say you will be going.
On Thursday we are also hosting a maths challenge in school
after the end of the school day. You will have read in the school newsletter
that all the children will be leaving school via the infant playground on that
day and I have asked parents not to park in School Road. This is to make it
easier for the participants to access our KS2 playground and it will also make
it safer for the Little Heath pupils as they walk home. I do thank you in
advance for your co-operation in this matter.
