Welcome back everyone! I hope you all had a great Easter break. It has been nice to return to some sunshine although if my weather App is to be believed it is going to be a little cooler next week (as it was today). Still, it would not be England if the weather remained the same all of the time.

The children were all looking very smart this morning as they were all ready for their class photograph. It was a very exciting time in the hall as they all posed for their photographs. We will see the results in a couple of weeks and I hope you are all pleased with them.

As usual the children have all settled back into school well and are enjoying being able to play on the field again –having that bit extra space appears to get them very excited as does having their packed lunch on the field. However, as I stated above you can never really rely on the English weather so can you make sure that they do have appropriate clothes in school so they can go outside for their breaks no matter what the weather is like – this includes having a cap in school and wearing sun block in sunny weather and bringing in some sort of jacket in case the weather turns colder.

Next week will get even more exciting for the children as all the after school clubs are starting up again. As it is the summer term there is a change to some of the clubs so if you do not know what they are please check the website and ensure that if you have not already done so you have signed your child up on Gateway as some of the clubs have limited spaces.
